Max’s New Sports Streaming Tier Now Available
Max’s new Bleacher Report-branded sports streaming tier is now live and can be accessed by current subscribers at no additional cost. As announced previously, this new live sports streaming tier is being offered as a free add-on for all Max subscribers until February 29.
After February 29, there will be a monthly charge of $9.99 for continued access to live sports content. The Bleacher Report Sports Add-On, according to Max, provides a wide range of premium live sports content, including over 300 live games annually. This includes events from MLB, NHL, NBA, NCAA Men’s March Madness, US Soccer, and more.
It’s worth mentioning that all live games broadcasted on the Warner Bros. Discovery linear network (TNT, TBS, or truTV) will also be accessible on Max through the Bleacher Report Sports Add-On.
The first B/R Sports Add-On event was the MLB National League Division Series Game 1 doubleheader over the weekend. Additionally, there are several other live sports events scheduled for this week, such as the NHL Opening Week doubleheader featuring the Chicago Blackhawks vs the Boston Bruins and the Los Angeles Kings vs the Colorado Avalanche on October 11.
Max has also confirmed that pre- and post-game programming, including popular studio shows like Inside the NBA, will be available for live streaming. Replays of each game will also be accessible.
In summary, the newly introduced B/R Sports Add-On is available across all Max packages, including Max With Ads, Max Ad-Free, and Max Ultimate Ad-Free. Current Max subscribers can enjoy the live sports add-on for free until February 29, following which a charge of $9.99 per month will apply for continued access to its content.
