While the average user may not experience speeds of 3.6 Gbps in their day-to-day activities, T-Mobile’s commitment to advancing 5G technology is evident. By combining six 5G channels of mid-band spectrum, T-Mobile aims to deliver higher speeds and expand coverage.

This achievement follows the rollout of four-carrier aggregation last year, which offered theoretical speeds of over 3.3 Gbps. The goal is to maximize network capacity without relying solely on high-band airwaves, providing users with faster speeds in a variety of locations.

Although six-carrier aggregation is not yet ready for mass deployment, T-Mobile is actively working on this and other innovative 5G technologies. As a result, T-Mobile continues to lead the way in 5G advancements and breakthroughs.
