لدى Netflix فكرة عندما ينتهي إضراب الممثلين: زيادة الدفع منك جزء من الخطة

A new report suggests that Netflix is planning to introduce higher prices for its streaming service. While there is no information on the exact price increase, insiders reveal that it could happen a few months after the Hollywood actors strike ends, which is expected to be in the coming weeks.

The United States and Canada are likely to be the first markets to experience the price hike, followed by other parts of the world. Last year, Netflix raised prices for all of its plans, with the ad-free Standard tier costing $15.49 per month and the Premium plan priced at $19.99 per month. The company also introduced a $6.99 per month ad-supported plan and discontinued its basic ad-free plan priced at $9.99 per month.

In 2023, Netflix faced some decline in popularity when it implemented stricter policies on password sharing, charging an additional $7.99 per month for account sharing outside of the user’s household.
