ستكون قنوات البث متاحة على Facebook وMessenger من خلال Meta

Meta, the company behind Facebook and Messenger, has announced that the popular “broadcast channels” feature will soon be available on both platforms. This feature, which is already present on Instagram, allows creators to update their followers on their activities without making a traditional post on their page.

Meta has stated that administrators of Facebook Pages will now be able to use the broadcast channels feature, similar to the creators on Instagram. This update will enable Facebook Page admins to utilize various broadcast channel features, such as conducting polls to gather feedback from their community, sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos, and using voice notes to establish a more personal connection with their followers.

Moreover, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that the company is currently testing the ability for Pages to create their own broadcast channels, which should be available for use in the near future.

To begin using the new features, Page managers can create a channel directly from their Facebook Page. Alternatively, they can join a waitlist to receive notifications about the availability of the feature.

Once a broadcast channel is created and a message is sent, followers will receive a one-time notification to join the channel. However, only the channel creator can send messages. Nonetheless, members of the broadcast channel will have the ability to react to messages and participate in polls, as these functions are core to the purpose of the tool.

When the new feature is rolled out, Facebook and Messenger users will be able to join broadcast channels directly from their favorite Page’s profile. It is important to note that once users join a channel, they will continue to receive notifications about new content, unless they choose to mute them by tapping the “mute” icon in the top right corner of the channel thread.

This expansion of the broadcast channels feature to Facebook and Messenger aims to offer administrators more flexibility in engaging with their audience and sharing updates in a more interactive manner. Stay tuned for the official rollout of this exciting feature in the coming weeks.
