WhatsApp is always on the lookout for new features to enhance user experience. One of the latest features being tested is a Favorites tab in the Settings menu. This new tool allows users to add, reorder, and remove favorited contacts and groups from the app’s settings.
The Favorites tab can be found in the Settings menu right under the Account tab. Its purpose is to help users easily find and access people and groups that matter most across WhatsApp.
Once you start favoriting contacts and populate the Favorites tab, they will be displayed on the calls tab for quick access. This eliminates the need to search for specific contacts when making a call, as the Favorite tab is just one tap away.
If you have a long list of contacts to add to the Favorites tab, grouping them separately can make it easier to manage. Currently, this feature is only available on Android devices, with no timeline for its release on iOS.
Stay tuned for updates on when WhatsApp plans to roll out the Favorites tab feature. Testing is ongoing, so it shouldn’t be too long before all users can enjoy this convenient new addition!
