المطالبة بحصتك من تسوية المشاركة العائلية بقيمة $25 مليون من Apple: دليل

Apple has reached a settlement for $25 million concerning its Family Sharing feature, following a lawsuit from Walter Peters v. Apple. The lawsuit alleged that Apple deceived users by making it seem that certain apps could be shared with up to six family members, when in reality they were only available to the single user […]

The $25 million settlement has been reduced by $10 million for attorney’s fees, leaving $15 million to be split among those who file a legitimate claim. The maximum payout per person is $50. To qualify for a portion of the settlement, you must be a U.S. resident and have been enrolled in Apple Family Sharing with at least one other person between June 21, 2015, and January 30, 2019. Additionally, you must have purchased a subscription to a third-party app via the App Store during that time period.

To file a claim, visit the Walter Peters v. Apple website and choose to submit your claim online or by mail. If you received a letter with a Payment ID and PIN, you can use those to submit your claim online. If not, you can print out the form from the website and mail in your claim.
