تُظهر العينة الهندسية لـ Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 أداءً رائعًا في تشغيل لعبة فيديو معينة

Qualcomm is set to introduce its custom Oryon cores in the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 application processor (AP), which is expected to be officially unveiled in October. An engineering sample of the chip was tested with the results shared on “X” by @faridofanani96. According to the source, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 engineering sample was able to run Genshin Impact for 45 minutes at a 1080p resolution with steady performance believed to be at the 60fps cap of the game.

Reports suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip used in the device could potentially run Genshin Impact at its capped 60fps at a higher resolution with additional work on the chip. Additionally, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset’s Adreno 830 GPU was able to produce a 10% higher score than Apple’s M2 chip on the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test, which is an impressive result considering the M2 chip is designed for non-phone devices such as Macs.

Rumors have circulated regarding the production of the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, with reports suggesting that Qualcomm may use a dual-sourcing plan with TSMC and Samsung Foundry. However, a recent rumor from Taiwan indicated that the new chipset will be built entirely by TSMC. Nevertheless, Qualcomm is expected to use the dual-sourcing plan for next year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 AP.

It is anticipated that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 AP will be featured in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in all markets, and in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ in the U.S. and China. For more details, the official introduction in October should provide a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities and features of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
