Exciting News for WhatsApp Users: Choose from Two AI-Generated Image Models!

We are excited to share that WhatsApp users will soon have the ability to AI-generate their own images directly within the app. What’s even more interesting is that users will have the option to choose between two different models from Meta’s AI Llama lineup:

– 3-70B (ideal for simpler, faster tasks)
– 3-405B (suited for more complex queries)

This exciting news comes from the reliable source WABetaInfo, focusing on the beta version 2.24.14.13 of WhatsApp. In a previous update (version 2.24.14.7), WhatsApp introduced its integration with the Meta AI Llama model, offering users a choice between various AI models based on interaction complexity.

Users can select the Llama 3-70B model for straightforward tasks or opt for the advanced Llama 3-405B model for more intricate queries. It’s clear that WhatsApp is following the trend of embracing AI technology in 2024, and this latest feature is a testament to that.

The new beta version introduces a feature that allows users to create AI-generated images of themselves by capturing a set of setup photos. The Meta AI system analyzes these photos to generate images that accurately represent the user’s appearance. Users have full control over this feature and can delete their setup photos at any time through Meta AI settings.

To generate an AI image, users simply need to type “Imagine me” in a Meta AI conversation or use “@Meta AI imagine me” in other chats. This command is processed separately by Meta AI to ensure user privacy, and the generated image will be automatically shared in the conversation.

It’s important to note that this feature is optional and requires users to enable it in their settings and take setup photos. The development of this feature is ongoing, with plans to make it available in a future update on WhatsApp.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue exploring the exciting world of AI-generated images on WhatsApp!
