Threads by Instagram has exciting news for its users! After a two-week testing period, the platform has officially rolled out the ability to bookmark posts, a highly requested feature since its launch last year.
Saving posts on Threads is now easier than ever. Simply tap on the three-dot menu located on the top right of a post, and you’ll see the option to “Save” at the top. This new feature allows users to bookmark posts, along with other options like hiding, muting, unfollowing, and reporting a post or user.
If you don’t see the feature right away, don’t worry. The rollout is in progress, so it may take some time to reach all users. You can try force closing the application and opening it again to see if the feature becomes available.
But that’s not all that Threads has in store! The platform is currently testing two other exciting features: drafting posts and trending topics. With Instagram head Adam Mosseri announcing these tests about a week ago, we could potentially see these features rolling out as early as next week.
Threads by Instagram is continuously evolving and shows no signs of slowing down. The app’s recent surge in downloads is giving some tough competition to its biggest counterpart, X (formerly known as Twitter). Stay tuned for more updates as Threads continues to innovate and enhance user experience!
