Oppo is gearing up to unveil its new flagship lineup in the last quarter of 2024 or the first quarter of 2025, and details about the upcoming devices have already started to emerge online. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is rumored to launch three new flagships: Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra. While initially debuting in China, these devices are expected to be released globally shortly after.
Recent reports suggest that Oppo will equip two of its upcoming flagships, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor. Additionally, the Find X8 Ultra is anticipated to come with Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. A reliable leaker has further confirmed that at least one of Oppo’s upcoming flagships will indeed feature the Dimensity 9400 processor and a quad camera setup with two periscope telephoto cameras.
The primary camera on this top-tier device will use a Sony LYT-808 sensor, while one of the periscope telephoto cameras will feature Sony’s IMX882 sensor. Other notable features of Oppo’s upcoming flagship include a high-resolution 1.5K display, a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, and a large silicon battery.
Although not explicitly named by the leaker, it is likely that these details pertain to either the Find X8 or the Find X8 Pro. Both devices are expected to share similar hardware specifications, distinguishing them from the more advanced Find X8 Ultra. The latter is rumored to offer a superior 2K resolution display and utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
The Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are anticipated to be launched between October and November 2024, while the release of the Find X8 Ultra may be delayed until early 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting new flagships from Oppo!
