يقدم Facebook أداة اختبار A/B لـ Reels وتحسينات إضافية للمبدعين

Meta, the company behind Facebook, has announced new enhancements for creators on its platform, including a Reels A/B testing tool. Reels, which were launched in 2020 as a response to TikTok’s popularity, have become increasingly popular, with over 2.3 billion people interacting with Reels monthly.

The new Reels A/B testing tool allows creators to experiment with different captions and thumbnails directly on their mobile devices. When creating a Reel, creators can test up to four different captions or thumbnails, and the results are displayed on their professional dashboard. The winning variant will then be showcased on their profile or page.

In addition to the A/B testing tool, Meta is also exploring the use of generative AI to create diverse caption and thumbnail options in the future.

Meta is also making it easier for creators to transform their existing video posts and livestreams into Reels. By selecting from their content within the Reels composer on mobile, creators can add finishing touches and post directly to Facebook.

Meta’s recent updates also focus on empowering creators. The Achievements hub in the professional dashboard now consolidates accomplishments in Education, Stars, Reels, and Progression. Creators can earn the new Reels streak achievement by consistently posting Reels weekly.

The company has also introduced a content management tool that provides a centralized view of all posts, reels, and videos. From this tool, creators can take actions such as hiding posts from their profile, moving them to the trash, or reviewing content performance insights. This streamlines the process compared to individually checking each post.

Meta has enhanced the insights experience with a weekly account highlights section within Insights. These insights provide information about posting habits, audience engagement, and content performance.

Furthermore, Meta has added additional Reels metrics to the professional dashboard, including Reels-specific Reach categorized by followers and non-followers, a distribution score for comparing Reels’ performance against others, and an audience retention graph that reveals viewer engagement over time.

While Meta is focused on empowering creators, it has faced challenges from authorities. Recently, Europe extended its ban on targeted ads on Facebook and Instagram due to concerns about the company’s use of personal data. As a result, Meta’s latest app, Threads, is not available in the EU as it does not align with European privacy regulations.
