Fido, a Rogers-owned telecommunications company, has made some changes to its plan offerings recently. Here’s a breakdown of the latest updates:

  • Fido has removed its 60GB plan outside of Quebec, leaving only the $39/20GB and $44/50GB plans after automatic payment discounts.
  • In Quebec, Fido offers different plans: $29/10GB, $35/50GB, and $55/75GB with Canada-US talk, text, and data.
  • Koodo, owned by Telus, currently offers plans like $39/20GB, $44/50GB with unlimited long-distance perks, and $49/60GB with unlimited long-distance perks. In Quebec, Koodo has similar offerings but with different price points.
  • Bell’s Virgin Plus provides plans such as $39/20GB, $44/50GB, $49/60GB with Canada-US talk, and $65/75GB with Canada 5G coverage. Their Quebec plans are slightly different.

It’s worth noting that only in Quebec do Fido and Koodo offer Canada-US plans for talk, text, and data. Keep an eye out for back-to-school offers now and expect even better deals during Black Friday in November.
