جوجل تسحب القابس من تطبيق الشبكة الاجتماعية الخاص بها – ما هي الخطوة التالية بالنسبة لصناعة الاتصالات؟

Google continues its trend of axing and rebranding services, with the latest casualty being its Pinterest-like app, Keen. The tech giant has announced that Keen will be shutting down on March 24, leaving existing users to bid farewell to their Keens, posts, uploads, likes, follows, and comments.

For those who want to safeguard their data before the shutdown, Google has provided steps to export and download it as a ZIP file:

– Visit staykeen.com/download
– Select Keens to download
– Click “Next” to preview the keens
– Select “Download data”

Keen gained popularity in 2020 as one of Google’s experimental ventures from its innovation lab Area 120. The platform utilized Machine Learning to offer personalized recommendations and search results based on users’ Keens – virtual idea boards where users could collect links, images, videos, and notes around a specific theme.

While Google continues to invest in new services alongside its core apps like Gmail and Maps, not all experiments are successful. The company’s focus on advancing AI innovations is evident with the recent introduction of Gemini and a dedicated app for Android users.

In the ever-evolving world of tech services, Google’s decision to retire Keen serves as a reminder of the constant experimentation and innovation driving the industry forward.
