جوجل تحل مشكلة التمرير في هاتف Pixel، ولكنها تكشف عن أخبار مفاجئة

Great news for Pixel users! Google has officially fixed the “scrolling stutter” issue that has been affecting several Pixel users. While this is a positive development, the bad news is that the fix may not be available until the release of Android 15 later this year, expected between August and October.

According to Google, ongoing optimizations in performance and power are set for the next Android release. These improvements will have a positive impact on system UI jank and various use cases tied to Android applications. The initial complaint was lodged in October 2023 by a Pixel 8 Pro user running a beta version of Android 14, with other models also experiencing similar issues.

Excitingly, the Developer Preview for Android 15 has already been released, with the public beta set to launch next month. Google’s timeline indicates that there will be at least four public beta releases of Android 15. While joining the beta program is an option for those eager to access new features early, it’s important to note that beta versions may not be stable and could affect essential features on your device.

Some Pixel users have expressed willingness to take a chance and install the Android 15 public beta during its second or third release in hopes of resolving the “scrolling stutter” problem. However, others advise against installing unstable beta software and recommend waiting for the final stable build of Android 15 before updating.

Users experiencing the scrolling issue reported that they expected smooth scrolling on their Pixel devices but were instead encountering jittery/stuttering movement. Some found that video recording slightly reduced the impact of the issue in certain cases.
