زر جديد على iOS Gmail يجعل إلغاء الاشتراك سريعًا وسهلاً بنقرة واحدة

It has been over a month since we last discussed the much-needed Unsubscribe button feature for the Gmail app. Back in November, it was revealed that the Gmail team was testing a tweak for Android users to quickly and easily unsubscribe from unwanted mail. Now, the Unsubscribe button has been quietly rolled out for iOS users, making it the first platform to receive this feature.

Users can now see a prominent “Unsubscribe” button in Gmail for iOS, located below the email’s subject line and above the email content. This provides a much more convenient and time-saving way to unsubscribe, as it eliminates the need to scroll, search for the “Unsubscribe” option in the 3-dot menu icon, or look for the sender’s “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the email.

This addition in the iOS Gmail app is similar to the web version’s unsubscribe button, providing a seamless experience. However, the new unsubscribe button has not yet been made available on Android devices. It’s ironic, considering that Android is Google’s own platform, but Google has a history of bringing features to iOS before Android. For example, the option to delete the last 15 minutes of browsing history in the Google app and the ability to crop videos in Google Photos were initially introduced on iOS before Android.
