رد Realme على iPhone 15 Pro: يثير كاميرا Periscope Zoom

Realme Takes on the iPhone 15 Pro with New Periscope Zoom Camera

Realme Global has recently made an intriguing social media post stating, “Not only Max can zoom.” This post clearly suggests that Realme is competing with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, specifically highlighting its innovative periscope camera system.

Accompanying the social media post is a captivating image depicting a scenic water-like background. However, the main focus of the image is a drawing representing a smartphone with a multi-camera system. While two of the lens holes are circular, the third one is rectangular, indicating the inclusion of a periscope lens.

It is important to note that the periscope zoom lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max employs a circular front element lens, unlike the rectangular lens hinted at in Realme’s post. Nevertheless, a periscope camera system utilizes a prism or angled mirror to redirect light and enhance zoom capabilities. This technology allows the light to pass through different lens elements and ultimately enlarge the image for a zoomed-in effect.

Interestingly, Realme has previously experimented with a periscope camera. In 2020, they unveiled the Realme X3 SuperZoom, featuring a quad-sensor setup with a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP periscope zoom lens offering 5x optical zoom, an ultra-wide camera, and a dedicated macro lens.

Returning to the current periscope tease, there are no details available regarding the device that will potentially house this unique zoom system. However, rumors suggest that the Realme GT5 Pro, expected to debut by the end of 2023, might be equipped with a periscope camera and possibly the unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

Phone enthusiasts can anticipate Realme’s future developments in the realm of periscope cameras as the company continues to push boundaries and compete against industry giants.
