We are just a few days away from the highly anticipated launch of Nothing’s latest smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2a). This more affordable version of the premium Phone (2) has been creating quite a stir in the telecommunications industry. Recent leaks and rumors have provided us with many details about the phone, including its design, which has been showcased in leaked renders featuring two different color options.
Renowned tipster Roland Quandt recently unveiled some lifestyle shots of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) on X. These photos confirm that the phone will be available in classic black and white color choices, staying true to Nothing’s tradition of offering phones in two color variants – dark and light.
The leaked images also give us a glimpse of the unique camera setup on the back panel, along with three subtle Glyph LEDs. Interestingly, it seems that wireless charging may not be included in this model, unlike its predecessors, the Phone (1) and Phone (2). However, this is not surprising as the Phone (2a) is positioned as a more budget-friendly option from Carl Pei’s company.
Nothing is known for its unique approach to product launches, turning them into unforgettable experiences. For instance, they recently released a video showcasing the “unboxing” of the Phone (2a) in London – an experience unlike any other.
While the exact pricing for the Nothing Phone (2a) has not been officially revealed yet, rumors suggest that it could be priced at €349 ($379) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version and €399 ($433) for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model in Europe. In comparison, its premium counterpart, the Phone (2), starts at around $699.
The grand unveiling of Nothing’s budget-friendly smartphone is set for March 5th, so make sure to mark your calendars. Stay tuned for more updates, leaks, and most importantly – the official announcement. Keep an eye out for further information as we approach the exciting launch date!
