The smart and tech-savvy Mishaal Rahman recently shared a tweet explaining the new document scanning feature on the app. This feature allows users to scan a document, digitize it, and convert it into a PDF file effortlessly. Here\u2019s what you need to know about this handy addition:<\/p>\n
\u2013 Simply open the Files by Google app and look for the \u201cScan\u201d button in the bottom right corner.
\n\u2013 Tap on the button, and the app will automatically scan the document using your phone\u2019s rear camera.
\n\u2013 You can also manually define a specific area of the document to scan.
\n\u2013 Multiple scans can be combined into one document for convenience.<\/p>\n
Once the scanning process is complete, the document will be saved as a PDF file in a new \u201cScanned\u201d folder within the app. This feature is being rolled out via a server-side update, so you don\u2019t need to download a new version of the app.<\/p>\n
