While this wasn\u2019t entirely surprising given Netflix\u2019s price increases over time, what came next caught everyone off guard.<\/p>\n<p>Without warning, some T-Mobile customers with the free Netflix \u201cStandard with ads\u201d plan found themselves unable to stream certain content. This unexpected restriction left many frustrated, even though it was not T-Mobile\u2019s doing but rather a decision by Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>Despite not being T-Mobile\u2019s fault, users took to social media to express their dissatisfaction. The lack of transparency from both T-Mobile and Netflix only added fuel to the fire.<\/p>\n<p>When T-Mobile first mentioned updating the Netflix benefit in January, there was no mention of these content restrictions. Even now, the \u201cNetflix on Us\u201d webpage fails to detail any limitations.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix itself has been vague about the issue and leaves users to discover on their own which content is restricted. However, it\u2019s important to remember that this subscription comes at no extra cost, saving users $6.99 a month.<\/p>\n<p>If the restrictions are too much to bear, users have the option to upgrade to an ad-free Standard or Premium plan at a discounted rate.
