إطلاق العنان لإمكانات الذكاء الاصطناعي في iPhone: Apple تستخدم الخوادم السحابية مع شرائح M-Series

Apple is gearing up to enhance the AI capabilities of iPhones, iPads, and Macs by utilizing a combination of on-device processing and cloud-based servers powered by Apple’s cutting-edge chips. This strategic approach aims to streamline complex AI tasks and ensure faster, more secure performance. According to a report from Bloomberg by Mark Gurman, Apple is set to deploy the M2 Ultra chip, currently used in the Mac Pro and Mac Studio, to fuel the servers in data centers.

In an effort to stay ahead of the curve, Apple is rumored to be working on developing the M4 Ultra chip for future server deployments. The tech giant initially devised a plan to leverage its own chips and cloud servers for AI tasks three years ago but expedited the process following the emergence of OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot craze. The potential impact of AI on internet search was highlighted by Gmail developer Paul Buchheit in December 2022, drawing parallels between AI advancements and the obsolescence of older technologies like Yellow Pages.

As Apple gears up for WWDC 2024 kicking off on June 10th, tech enthusiasts can look forward to a sneak peek at the upcoming AI enhancements for iOS 18 and Siri. This event promises to unveil significant updates such as text summarization, AI-driven search features, and document analysis across key platforms like Safari, Siri, Messages, Mail, and Spotlight Search.

For those eagerly anticipating improvements in Siri’s functionality through Apple’s AI initiative, there is reason for optimism. Originally introduced with the iPhone 4s back in 2011, Siri has faced criticism for delivering generic responses sourced from limited websites. With advancements in AI technology, users can expect more accurate and tailored responses from Siri moving forward.
