Microsoft has launched a major update for Copilot, the AI-powered Bing Chat tool, to celebrate its first anniversary. The latest update includes an extensive redesign to streamline the experience on the web, iOS, and Android.
The updated Copilot now boasts a simpler look, making it easier for users to read through its responses. It also offers a carousel of prompts and tools to enhance user experience, according to a recent Microsoft blog post.
Since its launch on February 7th, 2023, Copilot has facilitated five billion chats and generated five billion images using prompts. Microsoft credits the use of Copilot for contributing to sustained growth in Edge and Bing share.
To coincide with this update, Microsoft is launching a Super Bowl ad to generate even more attention for the AI chatbot.
In addition to these updates, Copilot’s Designer feature now offers more image-editing capabilities and creation tools. Users can edit images generated by the chatbot without leaving the interface. Furthermore, Copilot Pro subscribers can resize and regenerate images between square and landscape orientations without exiting the chatbot.
Looking ahead, Microsoft is set to introduce Designer GPT inside Copilot. This new feature aims to provide users with an immersive canvas within Copilot for visualizing their ideas.
With these updates and new features rolling out for Copilot, Microsoft continues to enhance the user experience for this AI-powered assistant. Stay tuned for more exciting developments from Phones Canada!
