Samsung’s rugged tablet, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro, is set to receive its second major software upgrade of the year with the Android 14 update. Originally launched in 2022 with Android 12, the tablet was quickly updated to Android 13. Now, customers who own the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro will have the opportunity to upgrade to Android 14 starting this week.
According to SamMobile’s report, the Android 14 update for the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro is currently available in several countries, although specific locations were not mentioned. This indicates that Samsung has initiated the rollout, and it is expected to reach all users in the coming weeks.
The update comes with a download size of about 2GB, so users are advised to ensure they have sufficient free storage before proceeding with the update. Additionally, the update includes the December 2023 security patch and new features and improvements included in One UI 6.
To update the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro to Android 14, users can navigate to Settings > Software update and select Download and install if Android 14 is available for their tablet.
