Les abonnés actuels recevront gratuitement le lancement du niveau Sports en direct en octobre par Max

Max, the streaming company, has recently undergone rebranding and has raised its service prices twice within the span of a year. Additionally, Max is facing significant challenges due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike since July 14. As a result, the production of new shows requiring writing has ceased, and the release of renewed shows has been delayed until a resolution is reached that satisfies all parties involved.

In an effort to retain its customer base, particularly those who enjoy watching live sports, Max has announced the introduction of a new sports tier. This tier, known as the Bleacher Report Sports add-on, will be accessible to all current subscribers for free, but only for a limited time. Starting from October 5, this add-on will be available for purchase at a monthly cost of $9.99. However, existing Max subscribers will continue to enjoy the benefits of this tier at no extra charge until February 29, 2024.

Sports enthusiasts who enjoy Max will find the sports tier highly appealing as it provides access to live games from various sports leagues, including Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and US soccer.

Notably, the content available in the sports add-on will also be accessible via Warner Bros. Discovery’s cable networks, such as TNT, TBS, and truTV.

Max has also confirmed that the new tier will offer subscribers access to live coverage from Bleacher Report, the sports outlet under Warner Bros. Discovery. Furthermore, subscribers can enjoy select live international sporting events, video-on-demand content, and sports documentaries.

It is worth mentioning that live sports on Max will feature the same advertisements that are aired during the TV broadcast of the event on TNT, TBS, or truTV. Therefore, if you are a dedicated viewer of live sports, it would be wise to consider subscribing to Max, if you have not done so already. Take advantage of the free access to the sports tier until February 2024 and see what it has to offer.
