Découvrez le modèle d'IA de pointe Gemini 1.5 de Google sur iPhone au Canada Blog – Phones Canada

Google has just unveiled its latest artificial intelligence model, Gemini 1.5, representing a significant advancement in the company’s AI technology. This new model is said to have made substantial progress in various aspects, including more efficient information processing and longer contexts compared to its predecessor, Gemini 1.0 Ultra.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, expressed that with the launch of Gemini 1.5 Pro, Google continues to prioritize safety and rapid progress in AI model development. The 1.5 Pro version achieves comparable quality to the 1.0 Ultra model while utilizing less computational power, making it more efficient.

Here are some key highlights of the Gemini 1.5 Pro:

– Handles a standard context window of 128,000 tokens
– A version limited to select developers and enterprise clients can handle up to 1 million tokens
– Can process vast amounts of information in one go — including video, audio, codebases, or words

Google demonstrated the capabilities of Gemini 1.5 Pro by examining a 402-page PDF transcript from the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. The AI was able to recognize a drawing and correctly identify it as the moment Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon.

Pichai emphasized that longer context windows open up new possibilities and enable entirely new capabilities for developers to build more useful models and applications.

Earlier this month, Google launched Gemini in Canada (previously known as Bard), reflecting the rapid pace at which AI models are being developed by both Google and OpenAI.

With such advancements in AI technology from industry leaders like Google and OpenAI, it’s exciting to imagine what the future will hold for AI in five years.
