YouTube has recently rolled out the beta version of its video editing app, YouTube Create, to Canada, offering creators an easy way to produce engaging content. This free app is designed to simplify the video editing process, making it faster and more convenient for both new and experienced creators.
Originally launched in 2023 for eight markets, YouTube Create is now available in Canada for Android users. The app is tailored for creating Shorts and longer videos, allowing creators to focus on their creativity rather than spending excessive time on editing.
Once downloaded from the Google Play Store, YouTube Create provides a range of features to enhance your videos:
– Audio cleanup to remove background noise
– Beat matching for smooth transitions
– Royalty-free music library
– Voice-over and auto caption tools
– Various effects, filters, and stickers
According to Sarah Ali, Senior Director of Product Management at YouTube, the development of YouTube Create involved input from over 3,000 creators. The goal is to make video editing simpler and more intuitive so that creators can devote more time to their creative pursuits.
Integrated directly into YouTube, YouTube Create allows for easy creation and publishing of both Shorts and longer videos. While currently available for Android users in Canada, we are eagerly awaiting its debut for iOS users as well.
Stay tuned for updates on when YouTube Create will be available for iOS users. In the meantime, start creating captivating content with this user-friendly video editing app from YouTube.
