Apple is gearing up to launch a revamped version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence in the upcoming year. The much-anticipated update is expected to roll out as early as Spring 2025.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new Siri software may not debut alongside Apple Intelligence, with a potential release in Spring 2025. The refreshed Siri is said to come with a host of new AI features, including contextual commands based on on-screen information, ChatGPT integrations, and a fresh design.
Gurman suggests that the improved Siri features could be part of the iOS 18.4 update, with beta testing for developers kicking off in January. Additionally, he hints at possible integrations with Apple Intelligence and Vision Pro headsets later down the line.
Apple’s software chief, Craig Federighi, has hinted that the revamped Siri will initially focus on compatibility with Apple’s own apps. This means users can expect seamless integration with apps like Photos, Messages, and more. While Siri is set to support hundreds of commands initially, the advanced AI functions will likely be exclusive to the latest Apple devices.
Stay tuned for more updates on the exciting enhancements coming to Siri and Apple Intelligence as we approach the anticipated launch date in Spring 2025.
