Nouvelles passionnantes : le nouveau réseau « Find My Device » de Google sera bientôt lancé !

Google is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated “Find My Device” network, following recent leaks and beta testing. A select group of Android users have received an email revealing the official launch date for the service.

According to reports from 9to5Google, the email disclosed that the “Find My Device” network will go live in just 3 days. This means that users can expect to receive notifications on their Android devices by Monday, April 8th. The email also mentioned that users have the option to opt out of the network through Find My Device on the web.

Last year, Google introduced the Android Find My Device network as a solution to help users locate lost or stolen smartphones. However, concerns about potential stalking issues with tracking devices like AirTags prompted Google to collaborate with Apple on a joint solution. With Apple set to release new anti-stalking features in the upcoming iOS 17.5 update, Google is now ready to launch its Find My Device network.

While it’s unclear if the email was meant for a wider audience or sent out accidentally, we are excited about the prospect of finally having a reliable “Find My Device” network for Android users. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official launch date!
