Rapport exclusif : Dernières tendances iPhone au Canada – Phones Canada Blog

Apple is making a significant decision regarding its FineWoven accessories, as reported by MacRumors. Here’s a breakdown of the latest news:

– Apple will discontinue the production of FineWoven accessories for all its products.
– This decision stems from durability and quality issues associated with the material.
– Renowned leaker Kosutami shared this update, hinting that Apple might opt for a different material for its high-end accessories in the future.

FineWoven was initially introduced as an eco-friendly alternative to leather for Apple’s first-party accessories. The synthetic material, described as a “luxurious and durable microtwill,” consists of 68% post-consumer recycled content. Products like iPhone 15 cases, wallets, Apple Watch straps, and AirTag holders were priced at $79, $199, and $49 respectively.

However, customer feedback highlighted concerns about the durability and wear-and-tear of FineWoven accessories shortly after their release. In response to these issues, Apple issued a memo addressing user criticisms and guiding retail staff on handling inquiries related to the material.

The memo acknowledged that FineWoven may show signs of wear over time due to regular use and could develop imprints from MagSafe accessories. While these products are currently available on Apple.ca, their availability may be limited as stocks diminish.

Stay tuned for further updates on this development!
