Gboard Smart Reply Feature Expands to Pixel 8 Pro
Google’s Gboard Smart Reply feature, which was first tested in 2018, has now expanded to the AI-powered Pixel 8 Pro. This feature provides AI-generated suggestions for messages in conversations, making typing easier and more efficient.
The Pixel 8 Pro, which was announced ahead of the Galaxy S24, boasts advanced AI capabilities thanks to Google’s AI model Gemini Nano. One example of this is the Recorder Summarize feature, which transcribes audio recordings and provides AI-generated summaries, perfect for lengthy podcasts.
In addition, the Gboard Smart Reply feature on the Pixel 8 Pro is now compatible with two more messaging apps, Line and KakaoTalk, in addition to WhatsApp. This means that users can experience the benefits of AI-generated message suggestions across a variety of messaging platforms.
