La dernière mise à jour introduit le sélecteur GIF et la prise en charge des sondages dans la nouvelle application Threads

Meta, the team behind the social media platform Threads, is continuously working towards making the app more appealing to users. Their goal is to reach 1 billion users within the next few years. In their latest update, Meta has introduced some exciting new features to Threads – a native GIF picker and polls.

Previously, Threads prevented Android keyboards from inserting GIFs. However, with the recent update, a native GIF picker has been added to the app. Mark Zuckerberg himself announced this update in a post. Additionally, the update also brings support for polls.

The new polls feature functions just as you would expect. When creating a new post, users have the option to add up to four poll choices. The poll runs for 24 hours, with no current option to modify the active time. It’s important to note that the Threads web app does not yet support polls.

Another noteworthy addition in this update is the in-app GIF picker. Powered by GIPHY, this feature works on both new posts and replies. Users can simply tap the “GIF” button in Threads, which will lead them to a library of searchable GIFs. These two features are now available for both Android and iOS users with the latest update.

Meta’s commitment to improving Threads is evident with these new features. The native GIF picker and polls enhance the app’s functionality and add to the overall user experience. Whether you’re looking to add some fun to your posts with GIFs or gather opinions through polls, Threads offers it all.
