Samsung once again outshines Apple in quarterly smartphone shipments between July and September 2023, ruling the global market with 20 percent share. According to Canalys, Apple has the best-selling smartphone in the world with the iPhone 14 followed by two other models from the same family and the iPhone 13. It remains to be seen if the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max can achieve the same success.
In regards to the Galaxy S23 family, it’s not doing well. The S23 Ultra entered the list at number six in Q1 2023 before dropping out and neither the S23 nor S23+ made the chart. This is not good for Samsung’s mobile division, especially with lower-end models proving to be more popular than expected. It will be interesting to see the performance of upcoming models like the Galaxy S23 FE or the Galaxy S24 trio.
