The visionOS 1.0.3 release notes state, “This update provides important bug fixes and adds an option to reset your device if you’ve forgotten your passcode.” This update is a significant improvement for Vision Pro users.
Apple Vision Pro features the Activation Lock, similar to that found on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Resetting a forgotten passcode will not alter any ownership settings, ensuring that the device remains secure and locked to your Apple ID in case of theft.
Although Vision Pro is not yet available in Canada, it is expected to be introduced sometime in 2024. Stay tuned for updates on its availability in Canada!
