Basically, it\u2019s a voice-only group chat feature, where you are able to send voice messages to friends and receive replies in the form of audio. It\u2019s not live, so you can send and receive voice messages at any time, whenever it\u2019s convenient for you.<\/p>\n<p>You are able to push to talk, listen at 2x, tap to skip, swipe to the next Chat, or chat privately with someone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"gallery-946eb054-17b3-468d-a301-a69068cff9a8\" class=\"single-image-container full-width-element\">\n<div class=\"gallery-item\"><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">However, live audio isn\u2019t going away \u2013 it will still remain as one of the main features of Clubhouse. When you open Clubhouse, you\u2019ll see your friends and not only the rooms that happen to be live at that moment.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>When you start a chat, you can set it to \u201cfriends only\u201d or \u201cfriends-of-friends\u201d, so it\u2019s not full of strangers.<\/p>\n<p>The social media platform is now changing its focus on friends instead of followers and depth overreach, explains the blog post. With the friends over followers mindset, the app will have a friend button instead of a follow button. For the people with a lot of followers, you will be able to create a House with all of them so you can easily reach them.
