This move is designed to encourage device owners to trade in their older iPad or Apple Watch for a newer model.<\/p>\n<p>The new valuations see an increase in trade-in value for the following products:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 iPad Pro: Up to $580 trade-in value (from as much as $510 previously)<br \/>\n\u2013 iPad Air: Up to $325 trade-in value (from as much as $315 previously)<br \/>\n\u2013 iPad: Up to $260 trade-in value (from as much as $170 previously)<br \/>\n\u2013 Apple Watch Ultra: Up to $425 trade-in value (from as much as $380 previously)<br \/>\n\u2013 Apple Watch Series 7: Up to $160 trade-in value (from as much as $155 previously)<\/p>\n<p>Apple also increased the trade-in values for certain Android handsets. It is possible to trade in a device at an Apple Store or online, and you can also use the funds received from a trade towards the purchase of an Apple Gift Card.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its Trade-In program, Apple states that you can get a great value for your current device and apply it toward a new one, and if your device isn\u2019t eligible for credit, Apple will recycle it for free.
