{"id":224686635,"date":"2024-01-23T02:12:21","date_gmt":"2024-01-23T07:12:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phonescanada.com\/?p=224686635"},"modified":"2024-01-23T11:40:37","modified_gmt":"2024-01-23T16:40:37","slug":"new-moderation-tool-coming-to-google-chat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phonescanada.com\/fr\/new-moderation-tool-coming-to-google-chat\/","title":{"rendered":"Un nouvel outil de mod\u00e9ration arrive sur Google Chat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Google starts this week with yet another update for its Chat app. After bringing star messages to iOS and Android, Google Chat is now getting a new moderation tool in the admin console.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The new moderation tool has been specifically designed for reviewing and taking action on reported Google Chat content via the Admin console under <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Apps \/ Google Workspace \/ Moderation<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The search giant announced that super admins will have access to the moderation tool when it becomes available in Google Chat. Also, they will be able to assign users the new \u201cModerate Chat content report\u201d privilege.<\/p>\n<p>Google recommends that this privilege only be assigned to users who are best suited to review Chat content, otherwise, it won\u2019t be too effective at reducing the super admins\u2019 workload.<\/p>\n<p>Once a new report is submitted by users, the moderation tool can be used to see all reports associated with the message, review the edit history of a message and conversation transcript (including up to 5 messages posted before the reported message), as well as details that provide info about the type of conversation with number of participants, space managers, guidelines, and more.<\/p>\n<div id=\"gallery-05c5dce4-646b-45da-8993-a06474508f6c\" class=\"single-image-container full-width-element\">\n<div class=\"gallery-item\"><picture style=\"padding-top: 62.5%;\"><source media=\"(max-width: 350px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 351px) and (max-width: 500px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 501px) and (max-width: 800px)\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/phonescanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Google-Chat-moderation-tool-1.jpg\" alt=\"Google Chat is getting a new moderation tool\" width=\"1000\" class=\"smush-dimensions lazyload\" style=\"--smush-image-width: 1000px; --smush-image-aspect-ratio: 1000\/625;\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" \/> <\/picture><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>It\u2019s also important to add that moderators will be able to add comments to the report should the content require further auditing in the future.<\/p>\n<p>In the same piece of news, Google announced that the moderation tool will also include a tab for managing quarantine Gmail messages. The Gmail tab is available to all Google Workspace customers.<\/p>\n<p>The new moderation tool accessible by going to <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Apps \/ Google Workspace \/ Moderation<\/span> will be rolled out in the next two weeks.
