Those affected will receive a notification informing them about the new changes on Instagram at the top of their Feed.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from Instagram, changes to teens\u2019 default settings on Messenger have been made, so those under 16 (or 18 in certain countries) will only receive messages from Facebook friends, or people they\u2019re connected to through phone contacts.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, a new feature will be launched that will help protect teens from seeing unwanted and potentially inappropriate images in their messages from people they\u2019re already connected to.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following its recent changes to the teen&#8217;s experience on its social apps, a stricter message setting for teens who are using Instagram and Facebook has been introduced.
