Introducing the Xiaomi Watch 2: What to Expect<\/p>\n
At the end of September 2023, Xiaomi released the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, and it certainly turned heads with its inclusion of Wear OS right out of the box. This meant immediate access to Google Wallet, Google Maps, and Google Assistant \u2013 a feature that was previously exclusive to Samsung and Google watches at launch. Other smartwatches had to wait months for an update, making this a big deal for tech enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
Fast forward less than six months later, and rumors are swirling about the upcoming release of the Xiaomi Watch 2 (notice there\u2019s no \u201cPro\u201d in the title this time around). This version won\u2019t have a rotating crown like its predecessor, but it\u2019s still packing some impressive features.<\/p>\n

\n\u2013 Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset
\n\u2013 Up to 65 hours of battery life
\n\u2013 Waterproof up to 50 meters (although not intended for swimming)
\n\u2013 Offers over 150 sports modes and health features
\n\u2013 No LTE version, but equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi, and NFC
\n\u2013 Visually simpler than the Pro version (no crown)<\/p>\n
The Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset may sound familiar \u2013 it was actually unveiled back in 2022. And if you\u2019re curious about the price point, it\u2019s rumored to be around $215.<\/p>\n
