We are thrilled to announce the start of production in Nunavut for the comedy series \u2018North of North,\u2019 previously known as \u2018Untitled Arctic Comedy.\u2019 This exciting series is a joint venture between CBC, Netflix, and APTN, with production being managed by Red Marrow Media and Northwood Entertainment.<\/p>\n
The show boasts an impressive cast, including Mary Lynn Rajskub, Maika Harper, Braeden Clarke, Jay Ryan, Kelly William, Zorga Qaunaq, Doreen Simmonds, Tanya Tagaq, Anna Lambe, and Keira Cooper. Together, they bring their talent and energy to portray the characters in \u2018North of North.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018North of North\u2019 follows the story of a young Inuk mother striving to carve out a new path for herself in a small Arctic community where privacy is hard to come by. The creators Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril have put together an exceptional team to bring this vision to life.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve already weathered a blizzard during preparation, so our fantastic cast and crew are more than ready to tackle filming in the Arctic.
