\n\u2013 According to findings by Android Authority, Google is shaking things up with notifications for new messages in its latest beta version of the app.
\n\u2013 If you receive a message from an unknown number, Google will attach the sender\u2019s name to the phone number. However, this feature only works if the person has profile discovery enabled.<\/p>\n
Profile discovery allows you to link your profile photo and name with Google Messages. You can manage this by following these simple steps:<\/p>\n
1. Open Google Messages.
\n2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture.
\n3. Tap Messages settings.
\n4. Select Profile discovery.
\n5. Turn Profile discovery on or off.
\n6. Next to your profile info, tap Edit.<\/p>\n
