This feature, which first launched in the U.S. last October, has now expanded to our beautiful country.<\/p>\n
Utilizing advanced computer vision and AI technology, Immersive View creates lifelike, multi-dimensional experiences that revolutionize how users interact with their surroundings. By combining billions of Street View and aerial images, this feature provides a virtual experience that goes beyond traditional map views.<\/p>\n
With Immersive View, users can now explore destinations as if they were physically there, helping them make informed decisions about where and when to visit. For example, planning a summer trip to Toronto becomes more exciting with Immersive View. Users can virtually soar over the CN Tower and then descend to street level to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and hotels.<\/p>\n
Similarly, this feature allows for a virtual stroll through Old Montreal\u2019s cobblestone streets, a tour of Calgary\u2019s vibrant downtown area, a glimpse of Ottawa\u2019s historic Parliament Hill, and an exploration of Edmonton\u2019s scenic River Valley. Currently, no British Columbia cities are included in Immersive View on Google Maps.<\/p>\n
Moreover, Immersive View includes a time slider that enables users to view predicted weather conditions and crowd levels at different times of the day. This feature aids in optimal trip planning by providing valuable insights for a seamless travel experience.<\/p>\n
