Foxconn is gearing up for the busy season at its largest factory in Zhengzhou as it prepares for mass production of the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series. The company is currently hiring additional assembly line workers to meet the demand for the upcoming launch in September.<\/p>\n
Here are some key points to note about Foxconn\u2019s hiring process and pay packages:<\/p>\n
\u2013 New hires can expect to make 25 yuan an hour, equivalent to $3.44 based on current exchange rates.
\n\u2013 Workers who were previously employed at the Zhengzhou factory may receive a bonus of up to 7,500 yuan ($1,032) as per recruitment posts.
\n\u2013 The pay package has improved compared to last month, with potential factory workers now offered a bonus of up to 6,000 yuan ($826).
\n\u2013 Foxconn is also raising the pay for workers at its Shenzhen campus to between 21 and 22 yuan ($2.89-$3.03) an hour in preparation for mass production.<\/p>\n
In addition, former employees are being encouraged to return for the iPhone production season with a monthly salary of up to 6,000 yuan ($826) for the first three months. Those who stay longer may receive a pay hike down the road.<\/p>\n
