\u2013 The feature, known as \u201cEverything else,\u201d was unveiled at Google I\/O earlier this year and is set to be released to users in the near future.
\n\u2013 Before using this feature, Google Wallet will request permission to process your data. Rest assured that all processing occurs on your device, with no data being sent to Google\u2019s servers.
\n\u2013 Users can scan and save two types of documents: normal and private. Normal documents like student IDs or business cards can be added without any special security measures. Private documents such as driver\u2019s licenses or tax IDs will require biometric authentication for added security.<\/p>\n
Google Wallet aims to simplify the document scanning process by automatically identifying, scanning, and categorizing the documents you upload. It can recognize a variety of document types, including loyalty cards, passports, IDs, insurance cards, event tickets, and more. In cases where it cannot determine the document type, it will place it in an \u201cOther\u201d category for manual input.<\/p>\n
Users also have the flexibility to change a document\u2019s category if they believe it has been mislabeled. Additionally, each document category supports up to five additional fields for added information.<\/p>\n
