This release follows Apple\u2019s re-release of iOS 18 beta 3 for developers with a new build. Now, anyone can test these early software versions for free. Here\u2019s how you can install iOS 18 Public Beta on your iPhone:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1: Archive a Backup<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Before installing beta software, always back up your data and files using Finder:\n<ol>\n<li>Connect your device to your computer.<\/li>\n<li>Open Finder and select your device from Locations in the Finder sidebar.<\/li>\n<li>Create a backup and click Manage Backups to archive your backup.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 2: Turn on Beta Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For devices running iOS 16.4 or later:\n<ul>\n<li>Go to Settings &gt; General &gt; Software Update &gt; Beta Updates.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the iOS beta you\u2019d like to install.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Note: Your iPhone must be signed in with the same Apple Account used to enroll in the Apple Beta Software Program.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For devices running iOS 16.3 or earlier:\n<ul>\n<li>From your iPhone, go to beta.apple.com\/profile to download the configuration profile.<\/li>\n<li>Your iPhone will notify you when the profile has been downloaded.<\/li>\n<li>Open Settings, tap the profile, and follow the onscreen instructions to allow installation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 3: Update Your iOS Device<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to Settings &gt; General &gt; Software Update.<\/li>\n<li>If a beta is available, you can install it from there.
