According to a reputable leaker on the Chinese social media website Weibo, OnePlus is planning to use a larger and brighter display panel for the OnePlus 12. The leaker claims that the peak brightness of the display will reach an impressive 2,600 nits. To put that into perspective, the newly announced Pixel 8 caps at 2,400 nits, while the iPhone 15 Pro reaches around 2,000 nits in outdoor use. So, it’s safe to say that the OnePlus 12 will offer a remarkably bright display.
Rumors suggest that the display will be a 6.82-inch LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, which aligns with previous expectations. The display is rumored to be slightly larger than its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, which featured a 6.7-inch display.
