Introducing the Nothing OS 2.0.3 Update: Discover Exciting New Features and Bug Fixes

Phones Canada is excited to announce the release of the Nothing OS 2.0.3 update for the Nothing Phone (2). This update brings a number of bug fixes and exciting new features for users to enjoy.

One of the notable additions in this update is the Zomato Glyph Progress support feature. This feature allows users in India to track the progress of their food orders from the Zomato app using the glyph LED on the back of the handset. To enable this feature, simply navigate to Settings > Glyph Interface > Glyph Progress.

Another new feature included in the update is the Compass widget. Users can now add this widget to their phone and swipe down to access more information.

The update also introduces a new user interface that is activated when the phone enters pocket mode. This feature prevents accidental touches on the display while the device is in your pocket, offering added convenience and peace of mind.

Additionally, the Nothing OS 2.0.3 update includes an improved ‘OTG Compatibility’ toggle in Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences. This feature, also known as “On The Go,” allows users to connect a full-sized USB flash drive or USB A cable to their phone through the Micro USB or USB-C charging port.

In terms of bug fixes, the Nothing OS 2.0.3 update addresses several issues, including increased Screen Recorder capture resolution, adjusted animation speed for the keyboard popping up after opening the app drawer, improved haptic feedback, enhanced NFC stability, improved Bluetooth connection stability in various scenarios, minor UI adjustments, and general bug fixes.

Please note that the update will be rolled out at different times in different markets for the Nothing Phone (2). To download and install the update, navigate to Settings > System > System update > Download and Install. The update size is 99.39MB.

It’s worth mentioning that the Nothing OS 2.0.3 update includes the August security patch. Phones Canada is committed to providing the same update schedule as the Nothing Phone (1) – three Android version upgrades and four years of bi-monthly security patch updates.

Stay tuned for more updates and exciting features from Phones Canada and the Nothing Phone (2).
