1. General Shipping Terms for Auctions

1. Shipping Responsibilities:
   • Phones Canada consolidates all auction winnings at our warehouse before re-shipping them to buyers.
   • Buyers are responsible for arranging shipping from Phones Canada’s warehouse to their chosen destination.
     
     
2. Shipping Readiness:
   • Upon receipt of auction winnings at our warehouse, Phones Canada requires 3 to 5 business days to prepare the products for shipment.
     
     
3. Notification:
   • Buyers will receive a notification email with shipping instructions and tracking details once the shipment is dispatched from our warehouse.

2. Shipping Process for Auctions

1. Consolidation and Inspection:
   • Phones Canada receives all auction winnings from various auction houses (e.g., AT&T, Bell, T-Mobile) and inspects them for accuracy based on auction descriptions.
   • Buyers will be notified if any discrepancies are identified before shipment.
     
     
2. Re-Shipping from Phones Canada:
   • Buyers can choose from the following shipping options:
     • Phones Canada Preferred Shipping: We arrange shipping with our preferred carriers for an additional fee. This includes packaging and preparation.
     • Buyer-Arranged Shipping: Buyers provide their own shipping labels or carrier account details for pickup from Phones Canada’s warehouse.
       
       
3. Shipping Timeline:
   • Once products are prepared for shipment, buyers are notified of the estimated delivery timeframe. Shipping times vary depending on the carrier and destination.
     
     
4. Customs and Export Compliance:
   • For international buyers, Phones Canada will ship to the provided address. Buyers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and ensuring proper documentation for import/export.
   • Phones Canada will not act as the exporter of record.

3. Insurance for Auction Shipments

1. Optional Insurance:
   • Phones Canada does not automatically provide shipment insurance. Buyers may request additional third-party insurance for their shipments.
   • If buyers choose not to arrange coverage, they assume all risks, including loss, theft, or damage during transit.
     
     
2. Carrier-Specific Insurance:
   • Insurance terms from the original auction house (e.g., Bell’s Kuehne + Nagel insurance) apply until the products are delivered to Phones Canada’s warehouse.

4. Pickup and Delivery

1. Pickup by Buyer’s Carrier:
   • Buyers arranging their own shipping must ensure their carrier picks up the order within 5 business days of receiving a notification from Phones Canada.
     
     
2. Re-Shipping Documentation:
   • Buyers must provide accurate shipping labels and any required documentation (e.g., BOLs, customs forms) before shipment.
     
     

5. Disputes and Returns

1. Discrepancies in Auction Winnings:
   • Buyers must report any discrepancies within 48 hours of receiving their shipment from Phones Canada.
   • Phones Canada will coordinate with the auction house to resolve any disputes related to missing or incorrect items.
     
     
2. No Returns or Refunds:
   • Auction items are sold “as-is.” Returns or refunds are only accepted for shipping errors or discrepancies in the shipment received.
     
     

6. Additional Notes

1. Shipping Fees:
   • Re-shipping fees are calculated based on shipment size, weight, and destination. These fees will be communicated to buyers prior to shipment.
     
     
2. Free Storage Period:
   • Phones Canada offers free storage of auction winnings for up to 7 days after notification of readiness. After this period, storage fees may apply.
