The OPPO Find N3, also known as the OnePlus Open, has finally received its official global announcement date. The phone is set to be unveiled on October 19th. OnePlus has been teasing their Z Fold 5 competitor for some time now, but had not given any release date information. It was previously revealed that the OnePlus Open and the OPPO Find N3 are essentially the same phone, but with different marketing names for different regions.
The OPPO Find N3 will be available in China, while the phone will be known as the OnePlus Open in the U.S. On October 19th, the company will also announce a second foldable phone, which may provide information on the global availability of the Oppo Find N3 Flip, currently exclusive to China. It is likely that OnePlus will also announce the OnePlus Open on the same day, as it is the same phone. OPPO’s event will take place in Singapore, starting at 14:30 (GMT+8 time zone, which is around 2:30 AM ET).
The foldable phone is expected to come with impressive features. It is rumored to have the highest pixel density among all foldable displays, ensuring a clear and sharp display even when folded. The hinge will be more compact, making the phone lighter and more durable. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, along with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, is expected to power the phone. Additionally, the phone is anticipated to have a triple-camera setup, with a 48MP main camera.
