The OnePlus 12 is rumored to feature the most vibrant smartphone display in the United States.

Phones Canada Team has some exciting news for smartphone enthusiasts. The latest flagship models from various brands are competing to offer an exceptional display experience. In particular, the Pixel 8 Pro has addressed a common issue faced by Pixel users in the past. Its “Super Actua” display boasts a maximum brightness of 2,400 nits, making it the brightest in the U.S. market. This is notably higher than the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s peak brightness of 1,750 nits and the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s maximum brightness of 2,000 nits. It’s worth mentioning that some international devices, like the Oppo Find X6 with its 2,600 nit panel, offer even higher brightness levels.

Moving on, popular tipster @Tech_Reve shared insightful details about the upcoming Galaxy S24 series from Samsung Display. According to the received data, all three models in the Galaxy S24 lineup will feature a display with LTPO technology. This means that the refresh rate can be adjusted based on the content displayed on the screen, ultimately conserving battery life. Moreover, these phones will come equipped with M13 OLED displays, offering improved visual performance and a higher brightness of 2,500 nits, surpassing the Pixel 8 Pro.

Additionally, we have some intriguing information available for OnePlus fans. As a brand under BBK Electronics, we expect OnePlus to deliver exceptional displays, just like its sister brands Oppo, Vivo, and Realme. The upcoming OnePlus 12 is rumored to feature a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, which matches the brightness capability of the Oppo Find X6. Renowned tipster Digital Chat Station shared this news on Chinese social media platform Weibo. Initially, the OnePlus 12 is anticipated to launch in China, followed by other markets later this year. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 series is expected to make its debut in January, with a potential release within the same month.

For those curious about what a “nit” represents, it is a unit of measurement used to compare the brightness of phone screens. One nit is equivalent to the light emitted by one candle per square meter, or one candela per square meter.

Regarding the OnePlus 12’s specifications, it is said to feature a curved display manufactured by BOE. This display will measure 6.82 inches and offer a QHD+ resolution of 1440 x 3168. Thanks to LTPO technology, the OnePlus 12 will support a 120Hz variable refresh rate. In terms of memory and storage, the top configuration is rumored to include 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. As for color options, black, white, and green are speculated to be available.
