Impending Arrival of Android 14 Update for Galaxy S23 Line

The Android 14 update for the Galaxy S23 series is just around the corner. The One UI 6/Android 14 beta program for the Galaxy S23 line will be ending this week, indicating that the stable version of the update will be soon available. Samsung has been rolling out One UI 6/Android 14 since August, and they have already released eight beta updates for their current flagship devices.

According to a moderator’s statement translated by Google Translate, the final inspection of all beta version issues is currently underway. If any important issues are found, Samsung will release a new version and conduct verification. Although a detailed schedule is not provided, official announcements regarding the distribution of the official version will be made through channels like Samsung Members.

Apart from the current flagship line, all previous flagship models that are eligible for the update will receive it before the end of this year. The delay in the official release of Android 14, which was moved from August to October 4th (when the new Pixel 8 line was introduced), has resulted in a potential gap of less than a month between the release of Android 14 for compatible Pixel models and the Galaxy S23 line.

It is worth noting that last year, Google released Android 13 on August 15th, while the Galaxy S22 line received the final version of Android 13 in late October. However, Google has extended support for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro by offering seven OS updates compared to three for the Pixel 7 line.
