Possible Changes for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 Extend Beyond Larger Screens

The Galaxy S24 series may be official, but Samsung’s attention has now turned to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. Details are slowly emerging about the upcoming foldable handsets, with some changes to the design and screen aspect ratio.

The previous Fold 5 came with a 7.6-inch inner screen and a 6.2-inch outer screen, while the Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch main display and a 3.4-inch cover unit. Reliable leaker Ross Young has claimed that all screens on both phones will be getting bigger, with the Flip 6 expected to have a 3.9-inch screen.

Another leaker, yeux1122, has suggested that the Fold 6 may undergo a design change similar to the Galaxy S25, with a different aspect ratio and a lighter build compared to the Fold 5. Additionally, leaker @Tech_Reve hints that the Fold 6 may feature a thinner OIS module.

As for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, yeux1122 also suggests that it may have a new design and thinner bezels.

While Samsung’s foldable phones received praise, the company will need to make significant changes to maintain its lead in the market.
